An artist for as long as she can remember, Jill has spent a lifetime creating with watercolor, oils, pen and ink, colored pencils and other mediums. She attended the School of Visual Arts majoring in illustration and minoring in graphic design. This creative training launched a diverse art career, starting in commercial illustration and design before expanding into large –scale murals and decorative painting for interior designers.
For 24 years, Jill owned and operated a successful business as a designer goldsmith. After retiring from the jewelry industry this year, she fell completely in love with pottery. With her deep background in fine art and illustration, painting with underglazes felt like second nature. Jill is thrilled to share her favorite ceramic painting techniques and help you unlock your own creative potential.
