Let’s draw! The goal is to relax, learn, and enjoy. By understanding and combining simpler underlying forms of anatomy, you can grow and succeed in this challenging but rewarding pursuit. All can benefit from studying the human extended model poses, various techniques, measuring, expression, and composition. Classes may include visual presentations & demonstrations. Class fee includes model fee.

Beginners will learn basic techniques and apply them to a project (references provided); experienced artists can get guidance on completing their own projects. Various pencil sets will be available for use in class along with other tools. Sample papers are included. Watercolor pencils are also welcome!

Students will learn how to draw all styles of cartooning for newspapers, magazines, greeting cards, children’s illustrations, comic strips…

I will teach what tools to use, like paper, pens, computer…also, how to color cartoons; the cartoon industry and how to become a full-time cartoonist.  All ages are welcome!
