Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society Annual Aqueous Exhibition

March 24 – April 17, 2026

Opening Reception: March 26, 5:00-7:00

The Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society was founded in 1983 with 17 Charter members and 24 Associate members. The original purpose to foster the advancement of and promote excellence in the art of watermedia painting remains their focus today. FSWS has grown to about 200 members spanning from Pasco county to Collier county.

“It was an honor to be asked to judge this exhibition. The level of work submitted was extremely high with a large number of paintings that were prize worthy, the most difficult part of this job was awarding prizes, as there were many more, that were also deserving of awards. If your work didn’t win a prize, please do not take it as a rejection, but understand there were not enough prizes to award all the deserving pieces. I found myself going back and forth on several pieces of work. Your organization can be proud of the high caliber of work in this exhibition. In the end the judging of any exhibition is subjective, and a result of the life time work and experience, the judge brings to this task.”

Cheryl Fausel – Juror
