Learn the basics of pottery on the wheel in a fun and supportive environment. This beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamental techniques of centering clay, opening, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms such as bowls and cups. Participants will also learn basic trimming and finishing techniques while developing confidence and control on the pottery wheel. No prior experience is necessary. Please purchase a basic tool kit prior to class (available at front desk). Class includes 25lbs. of clay, firing, and in-studio glazing.
